After a miserable day three against India in the first Test, Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc has some consolation, but it's not as good as last year.
After the day's play, which left Australia trailing India by a whopping 521 runs, Starc went for $2.14 million in the Indian Premier League auction.
He's headed to the Delhi Capitals, but it comes with a mega pay cut compared to his last earnings.

Last year, Starc made IPL history, going for $4.43 million to the Kolkata Knight Riders, crowned the most expensive in IPL history.
Now, he's copped a $2.3 million pay cut.
Teammate Josh Hazlewood has picked up a hefty $2.3 million payday to top the list of Aussies sold.
Young gun Jake Fraser-McGurk also sold to the Delhi Capitals for $1.6 million.
Meantime, India's Rishabh Pant became the most expensive player in Indian Premier League history, going for a whopping $4.92 million.
He's headed to the Lucknow Super Giants.
Indian batsman Shreyas Iyer also went on a lucrative deal signed by the Punjab Kings for $4.87 million.
It's the second most expensive signing in IPL history, behind Pant.
Iyer was a key part of the Knight Riders IPL title last summer, as he notched up 370 runs.
Other top bids of the auction included Arshdeep Singh, sold to the Punjab Kings for $3.28 million and Yuzvendra Chahal, also heading to the Kings on the same money.
England's Jos Butler was sold to the Gujarat Titans for $2.87 million.
