Dolphins coach Wayne Bennett has vented his frustration towards the NRL after a fiasco surrounding Kenny Bromwich's departure from the field late against the Storm.
In the 69th minute, the Dolphins enforcer left the game with confusion over a head injury assessment for the forward.

The Dolphins reportedly tried to get it overruled by the NRL but were told no.
Post-game, Bennett described the process as "crazy".
"They wouldn't give him an HIA (replacement)," he said in his press conference.
"The doctor ruled him off but they wouldn't let us use it as an HIA, it's a crazy system, you've got no idea. Try coaching it some days, crazy stuff."

Bennett went on to claim it was the Bunker that ruled Bromwich off, not the Dolphins.
"Bottom of the line is the Bunker said he had a head (knock), we didn't have a doctor that said he had a head knock, they said he had a head knock," he said.
"Because we put the card out for him to be replaced they wouldn't accept then that the Bunker said he had to be off anyway.
"So we lose a player and had no alternative but to take him off."
Post-game it was confirmed on Nine's coverage that Bromwich passed his HIA.
