While the skilled positions get most of the spotlight, the O-lineman are often the true stars of the show, the backbone of a team’s offense and overall dominance.
Need proof? Just look at the NFL, where over 20% of the draft picks are either interior linemen or offensive tackles, making them the second-most drafted position group over the past decade (trailing only defensive linemen.
That type of prowess carries its weight at the high school level, too, where having a superior offensive line can oftentimes quickly transform a game into a blowout. And these top-tier pillars of the trenches can make that scenario a reality.
