Sharjeel, Nabi make Kings’ way through to 186-9 against Qalandars

KARACHI: Sharjeel Khan and Mohammad Nabi helped Karachi Kings to post 186-9 in 20 overs Lahore Qalandars in 11th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 6. 

Sent into bat first, Kings’ opener Sharjeel kept his nerves calm despite watching his partner Babar Azam being bowled out by Shaheen Shah Afridi. Sharjeel made the most of a couple of drop catches and struck five boundaries and six maximums to score 64 runs.

Mohammad Nabi supported Kings’ score and scored 57 runs off 35 balls with the help of four boundaries and three sixes. Daniel Christian remained unlucky and got run out after scoring quick 27 runs off 14 balls laced with five boundaries.

For Qalandars, Shaheen Shah Afridi bagged three wickets while Haris Rauf, Ahmed Daniyal, Samit Patel and David Wiese shared a wicket apiece.
