Andrew Johns predicted that "upwards of 60 or 70 points" could be scored in the Broncos' Magic Round clash with Manly, although those kinds of numbers may be out of reach after news that Reece Walsh will miss the game with a knee injury.
The Broncos' injury crisis worsened on Thursday, claiming arguably the biggest box office attraction in the game one day out from Friday's marquee fixture.
Walsh's injury – a minor knee complaint that is unlikely to keep him out beyond Friday night – makes him the seventh Bronco watching on from the sidelines.

The rock star joins Adam Reynolds (bicep) and Billy Walters (wrist) in the casualty ward, meaning three of the club's four first choice spine players are out of action.
In the absence of Walsh, Selwyn Cobbo will shift to fullback, with off-season recruit Josiah Karapani to make his NRL debut for the Broncos at left centre.
"Walshy has pulled up lame this week with his knee," Broncos coach Kevin Walters said after the captain's run training session on Thursday.
"It's not quite right so we will leave him out and bring Josiah in.
"I don't think it's a long-term thing with Reece. I think one week will be fine to get it steady. He is just favouring it which I picked up this morning, we're better off going with fit players moreso than half fit."
While Walsh, Reynolds and Walters will be missing for the Broncos, the Sea Eagles have arguably an even more daunting assignment, running out onto Suncorp Stadium without their barometer and best player Tom Trbojevic.
The Sea Eagles recent record is diabolical when Trbojevic is out of the line-up, leading to Johns tipping a big win for the Broncos, albeit that they spoke on Wide World of Sports Freddy and the Eighth's Tips the day before the Walsh injury news broke.

"This will be an all out attack game," Johns told Freddy and The Eighth.
"I think it's capable of being upwards of 60, 70 points scored in this game and I think Brisbane will absolutely put on a show.
"Obviously no Turbo's a big out, (Tolu) Koula has gone to fullback, interesting to see how he goes. But for me Broncos win and win well."
Fittler also tipped the Broncos but was more circumspect about how the game would be played, giving credit to Brisbane's defence for becoming more resilient in recent weeks.
"The big thing about their game the other night (in their round 10 win against the Eels) is their defence on line, they move so fast, no one gives their defence a rap, they move fast, they're a good defensive team," Fittler said.
