Matthew Lloyd has urged North Melbourne to take inspiration from West Coast's turnaround that has been led by senior players.
On top of the quick rise to the top from No.1 draft pick Harley Reid, the Eagles have seen rapid improvement in the veterans.
That change has already seen the Eagles win two games in 2024.

In 2023, West Coast won just three games across the entire season.
Now, it feels like a new dawn out west, which is motivating the winless Kangaroos to find their first win of 2024.
Lloyd explained that the improvement of midfielder Elliot Yeo, who played in the Eagles' 2018 premiership, as well as key forward Jack Darling and defender Jeremy McGovern should inspire the Kangaroos veterans.
"I was speaking to a North Melbourne person today and West Coast are giving them a little hope," Lloyd said on Nine's Footy Classified on Wednesday night.

"The hope is … based on senior players. (What) Elliot Yeo has done.
"Off the back of … Yeo. McGovern's playing great footy, Darling's going better, (Jake) Waterman."
Lloyd says North Melbourne should watch the Eagles veterans' rediscovery of their confidence and learn from it.
"So, the senior players at North need to find something and they may see a little turnaround like this," he said.
Meantime, Lloyd lauded the Eagles' risky move to rest young star Reid, who hadn't missed a game until their round seven loss at the hands of Gold Coast.

"I think it was smart, don't take the kid on a five-hour trip to the Gold Coast, what for?" Lloyd said.
"Save him (for) Saturday night in Perth."
The Eagles look ahead to their clash against Essendon at Optus Stadium, as they search for their third win of the season.
