The NFL draft had 257 picks over the three-day spectacle, beginning with USC’s Caleb Williams heading to the Bears and ending with Alabama’s Jalen Key taking the “Mr. Irrelevant” nod.
For the football world, the conversations now shift to a myriad of debatable headlines: Which teams reigned supreme? Which teams failed? Which players can make an immediate impact? Can anyone really save the Chicago Bears? And so on.
Some of the topical chatter also flips the lens into the past instead of the future, giving colleges and even high schools a moment to bask in the spotlight on the NFL’s biggest offseason stage.
While much of that focus is on the NCAA programs with the most draft picks, the dive into the high school gridiron history books is just as intriguing.
With that in mind, here’s a breakdown (via the HSFA) of the high schools with at least two draft picks in 2024.
