Brisbane's early-season injury curse has continued with another gun forward going down at training on Tuesday.
Hours before naming their team for round four, the Broncos watched talented backrower Brendan Piakura limp off the paddock.
9News journalist Dominique Loudon reports Piakura will miss Friday's clash with North Queensland.

Piakura joins Payne Haas and Reece Walsh on the team's all-star injury list, while halfback Adam Reynolds is expected to be named to return this week.
All teams will be confirmed at 4pm (AEDT).
