'A bit worried': Perry shatters car window with six

Ellyse Perry unleashed during the Royal Challengers Bangalore's 23-run win over the UP Warriorz in the Women's Premier League, shattering a sponsor car's window (watch in the video above).

Perry smashed four fours and four sixes, including one that went through the back window of a Tata Punch EV car on display behind the boundary at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, on her way to a half-century.

The allrounder scored 58 runs off 37 balls before finding Poonam Khemnar at deep mid-wicket in the last over.

Ellyse Perry smashed the rear window of a sponsor's car with a mammoth six.

"I was a bit worried. I'm not sure I have insurance over here to cover me. So in a bit of strife there," Perry joked afterwards about hitting the car window.

Openers Smriti Mandhana and Sabbhineni Meghana partnered for a swift 57 off the first 32 balls before Meghana was dismissed for a 21-ball 28.

With Perry injected, she initially played second fiddle to Mandhana as the pair put on 95 runs in 64 balls.

But after Mandhana was dismissed for 80 off 50 balls, Perry let loose.

"It is the best atmosphere I have consistently played in front of in my entire career," Perry said.

"I had a great chance to get myself in with Smriti [Mandhana] at the other end, and then it was nice at the end to release a few."

RCB finished their innings with a total of 3-198.

In response, Warriorz skipper and fellow Aussie Alyssa Healy brought up a half-century of her own — with 55 runs from 38 balls before being stumped.

The Warriorz' run chase then gradually unravelled.

The result moved RCB to equal top of the league ladder alongside last year's finalists the Mumbai Indians and the Delhi Capitals. All three sides boast six points with RCB having played one extra match.
