Reece Walsh looks set to become the highest-paid player in Broncos history, with the club tabling a lucrative five-year extension to the superstar fullback.
According to a report from The Sydney Morning Herald, Brisbane have put together an upgraded long-term offer worth an estimated $1.2 million per season, which would see Walsh remain at Red Hill until at least the end of the 2029 NRL campaign.
The 21-year-old still has another two years on his deal with the Broncos, but it's no surprise to see the club move to lock him down for an extended period.

Speaking in Las Vegas prior to the side's season opener against the Roosters on Sunday (AEDT), Walsh revealed his desire was to remain with the club.
"For sure. Obviously I've got my family down the road and I've got some really good mates, I feel like these boys are my family now too," he said.
"I love it at the club, I love the staff, the fans and what the club is about.
"We are building something really special here … I'd like to secure some long-term stuff. My management can sort it out when they want to."

Walsh had a breakout season with the Broncos last year, helping them to a grand final appearance and dominating in the State of Origin arena for Queensland.
The speedster has scored 20 tries in 60 first grade appearances to date, but has already become one of the NRL's most high-profile and elite players.
Brisbane have also locked down Ezra Mam with a huge new contract, while veteran halfback and captain Adam Reynolds has inked a one-year extension.
