Earlier this year, Oregon’s Head Football Coach and Kansas City area native, Dan Lanning spoke on gun violence in America.

I’m not sure if this will be allowed in this sub, but I thought of this speech immediately after learning of the shooting at the Chiefs parade as Lanning is a KC area native and Chiefs fan. I thought it was worth sharing Dan’s message, and I can’t help but wonder what is going through his mind after witnessing the tragedy in his home city.

For those curious, this speech came unprompted after the mass shooting in Lewiston, Maine where 18 people were murdered. His words are falling on deaf ears. 😔
