Karachi: Former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed is looking forward to perform in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six for Quetta Gladiators.
The wicketkeeper-batsman Sarfaraz, who will lead Gladiators, is confident that his side won’t repeat the mistakes of last year as they finished last and didn’t qualify for the playoffs for the first time in tournament’s history.
“I’m looking forward to playing PSL and will try to use the time I spent training with the Pakistan team to good effect. I will try to fulfil the demands of national selectors by performing to the best of my ability,” Sarfaraz said in an interview with Cricket Pakistan.
“We will try to ensure that we don’t repeat the mistakes we made last year and put up a good show during the tournament,” he added.
Note, Sarfaraz is with the national men’s team as a second choice-wicketkeeper. Mohammad Rizwan has been playing as first-choice since Pakistan’s tour of Australia in November 2019.
