Kareem Abdul-Jabbar attends the Sears Shooting Stars Competition 2014 as part of the 2014 NBA All-Star Weekend at the Smoothie King Center on February 15, 2014 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s son has been sued by the neighbour he attacked in June.

Raymond Winsor claims he suffered a skull fracture and brain bleed during a fight with Adam Abdul-Jabbar, 28.

The plaintiff was arrested in San Clemente, California after challenging Winsor with a knife.

But Abdul-Jabbar’s lawyer Shawn Holley tells

TMZ Sports

that Winsor has failed to mention that “he provoked the incident by physically attacking Adam”.

“Mr. Winsor has given several different and inconsistent stories about what happened that night to various television media outlets,” she adds.

The neighbour claims Abdul-Jabbar stabbed him seven times in the head, neck, back and side, causing major damage, including a skull fracture and a subdural hematoma. He spent three days in the hospital.

The defendant also alleges he is suffering from shock, anxiety, worry, sleeplessness, depression and much more. He’s demanding Abdul-Jabbar pay for his medical expenses, plus damages.
