Two-time Olympian Henry Hutchison will make his long-awaited world rugby sevens comeback from a dreadful injury battle in Perth next weekend.
The 26-year-old Sydney product has been named in the Australian men's squad set to contest the third leg of the 2023-24 World Rugby Sevens Series.
Hutchison's 2023 campaign was ended by an ACL tear suffered at the Sydney tournament in February. He had also suffered a sprained wrist and broken ribs at the previous leg in Hamilton.

Hutchison has slotted into a squad placed sixth in the standings after the tournaments in Dubai and Cape Town. The Australian men secured the silver medal in South Africa.
At this stage, the Australian women are the gold-medal favourites for Paris 2024, having stormed through the first two legs of the series undefeated.
Wallabies legend Michael Hooper's sevens debut is delayed until at least the North American swing of the season.
