Australian qualifier Storm Hunter "couldn't be happier" after winning her first round match at the Australian Open.
The world No.179 secured her place in the second round after taking down Italian former world No.5 Sara Errani 6-4, 6-3 on Kia Arena.
"Honestly that was perfect, I couldn't be happier," Hunter said after her win.

The 29-year-old from Queensland, who is also the world's top ranked doubles player said she had been waiting for an Australian Open singles win for a "few years".
Hunter had previously failed to earn an opening round singles win over the past five years.
"So (I am) very happy to get it done today," Hunter said.
"It means everything. I grew up watching the Australian Open, dreaming of playing here.
"I'm a bit older so I've played a few main draws but never got the win, so to come through qualifying and win my first round in singles is a dream come true."

Hunter is the first Australian to secure her spot in the second round of the women's draw.
The 29-year-old will also make an appearance in the doubles draw, playing with Czecia's Katerina Siniakova on Tuesday.
