A star-studded Stan Sport rugby roster just got even more stacked.
Former Wallabies coach Michael Cheika and World Rugby Hall of Famer David Campese today joined the commentary team on Australia's new home of rugby.
Colourful and combative, Cheika led the Wallabies to the Rugby World Cup final in 2015 – an achievement that also earned him the honour of being named World Rugby's coach of the year.
Cheika is the only rugby coach to claim major provincial titles in both the northern and southern hemispheres, guiding Leinster to the Heineken Cup title in 2009 and the Waratahs to Super Rugby glory in 2014.
His Wallabies tenure ended after reaching the quarterfinals of the 2019 World Cup.
"I am excited about how Australians will be watching rugby as the game moves into a new era with Stan Sport," Cheika said.
"I'm eager to get started with the new Stan commentary team and to share my passion for rugby with loyal fans and newcomers alike.
"We'll be bringing greater coverage to the game, with deeper insight into every match – from rugby's grassroots soul all the way to the brilliance of the international level."

Campese, renowned as one of the greatest players in rugby history, starred in 101 Tests for Australia and redefined the way the game was played.
His 'goose step' remains legendary and 'Campo' remains one of the most recognised rugby figures in the world.
"I'm really looking forward to getting back into live rugby commentary and to passing on my knowledge and analysis to the informed and passionate Australian rugby community," Campese said.
"It's the start of a new era with Stan Sport and I'm grateful to be part of it"
Led by respected rugby hosts Roz Kelly and Nick McArdle, Stan Sport's commentary lineup also features former Wallabies Tim Horan, Morgan Turinui, Drew Mitchell and Justin Harrison, in addition to All Blacks legend Andrew Mehrtens and former dual code star Allana Ferguson.
Experienced commentators Sean Maloney and Andrew Swain are also on board to call every kick, try and tackle this year.
Stan's add-on sport package will be available for $10 a month and is the only place to watch every match.
