If the role of Umpire and Referee could be entirely automated, would you want that for your game/sport?

Imagine if technology could be so accurate into determining and calculating violation of rules of a game, would you ever want that to be implemented into a sport?

You can assume and understand the first question being, “well the computer would never truly understand the intent behind a player for their action, so what might seem like a foul or misconduct would then be interpreted for something else”.

Ignoring situations of emotional input, let’s say then that it is able to only determine for boundary rules, like if the ball fell outside the field, or within the court, determining values for scores. Would you want it to be dependent on a referee’s observation, or only an automated system?
