UFC referee Kerry Hatley has been heavily criticised for a stoppage decision after American Bobby Green continued to cop blows while being brutally knocked out.
Green's opponent Jalin Turner floored him with a left jab before the 37-year-old wobbled to the floor in the first round at the UFC Fight Night in Austin.
Turner then threw at least 15 blows to Green in a shocking sight for all combat fans.

"What else does he need?," commentator Jon Anik said on ESPN as the blows continued.
Speaking post-fight, UFC president Dana White was unimpressed with the referee's performance.
"He knows he made a mistake tonight and does not feel good about it, so it's unfortunate," he said.
"It was definitely a bad stoppage."

Commentating during the fight ex-world champion Michael Bisping described it as "disgusting".
"He was face down, he was getting teed off on by a world-class, very powerful striker. Kerry Hatley is a great referee, but what the hell was he waiting for?," he said.
"Peoples' lives are at stake, their long-term health is at stake. That was utterly disgusting and disgraceful."
UFC icon Daniel Cormier was also outraged by the incident.
"One of the absolute worst stoppages in MMA history," he posted on X.
"On your stomach taking punches and it still isn't enough. Crazy!"
