Sio Siua Taukeiaho's move to the Bulldogs has reportedly hit a roadblock with The Sydney Morning Herald stating he has not been granted a release yet from Catalans Dragons.
The Bulldogs have been on an aggressive recruitment drive and it was expected the premiership winning prop would be part of that, however the deal is yet to come to fruition.
While there's still hope of Taukeiaho moving back to the NRL, the Bulldogs have filled all 30 spots on their roster and would need to create a vacancy to fill him in.

The Catalans had previously announced months ago that they were releasing the prop, with owner Bernard Guasch confirming the move.
"We've had a discussion with Siua and we understand his decision to return to Australia," he said.
Canterbury have already started their pre-season training with new recruit Bronson Xerri pictured back on the paddock.
The Bulldogs had recently announced a quartet of signings with Kurt Mann, Drew Hutchinson, Jake Turpin and Poasa Faamausili joining the club. Faamausili has been signed to a development deal, according to The Herald.
Taukeiaho last played in the NRL in 2022 with the Roosters.
