Grand final rematch locked in as NRL draw unveiled

Penrith will have to wait until round three of the 2024 NRL season to get another look at the team it beat in this year's grand final.

The Panthers and Broncos will meet in round three for a rematch of the epic decider, in which Penrith executed a record comeback to win a third straight title.

The three-time reigning premiers will open their campaign against Melbourne on March 8, five days after the NRL season kicks off with the historic Las Vegas double-header.

The Broncos play the Roosters in the American party city, before flying home to face the Rabbitohs in round two and then the Panthers – a tricky start to the season to say the least.

The four clubs who play in Las Vegas will also play one another in round two, to make it fairer given the travel involved.

The NRL on Monday unveiled the full NRL and NRLW draws for next year, as well as the representative calendar.

Women's Origin will become a three-game series for the first time.
