Sixers star hospitalised after being 'struck' by car

Philadelphia 76ers guard Kelly Oubre Jr has been hospitalised with undisclosed injuries after being struck by a vehicle, the team said on Sunday.

The 27-year-old is in a stable condition but is expected to miss a significant amount of playing time, however his injuries are not considered season-ending.

The Sixers said Oubre was walking near his residence in downtown Philadelphia when he was struck. No additional information about his injuries or about the accident was disclosed.
