Auckland: Sarfaraz Ahmed and Mohammad Abbas, who were reportedly contacted with COVID-19 upon their arrival in New Zealand, have now got the green signal to join national squad.
According to the details, Sarfraz and Abbas have been declared noninfectious from the widely-spread virus. Both the cricketers were reportedly in isolation after being tested COVID-19 positive.
On the other hand, the national team is expected to resume training as soon as they receive the results of their third COVID-19 testing.
It must be noted here that six squad members of the touring party were tested positive for COVID-19 upon their arrival in the host country.
Pakistan is scheduled to play three T20Is against New Zealand, starting from December 18. Whereas, two Tests are scheduled from December 26.
