Kane Cornes has tipped Carlton to win next year's AFL premiership in his "way too early" prediction after an impressive year in 2023.
The Blues overcame a slow start to the season to reach their first preliminary final since 2000, eventually going down to the Brisbane Lions.
"It's my way too early premiership prediction," Cornes said of his Blues pick on SEN.

"I've got the Blues winning it next year. It's early, it's November 3, but it's my way too early pre, pre, pre-season prediction.
"I think the Blues win it next year."
Carlton was quiet in the trade period, adding talented Suns youngster Elijah Hollands while losing Zac Fisher to the Kangaroos.
However, it is the addition of former Essendon forward Orazio Fantasia that has Cornes excited.
Fantasia signed with Carlton as a delisted free agent after he was not offered a new deal with the Power, and is a player with serious upside, according to Cornes.
"He can seriously play," he told SEN.
"There's little risk associated with doing it because you're not paying him a lot. If he doesn't play, he's not going to cost you much. The upside is high.
"Andrew Russell is as good a fitness boss in the league. They'll back him in to get a program together for Orazio where he can play.
"If he played 16 games for the year, and three finals, it's a good get. I think they'll manage that throughout the year."
