Tensions became clear in the second half of the NRLW grand final as Newcastle's Jasmin Strange and Gold Coast's Niall Williams-Guthrie came to blows.
Strange managed to take a bomb before she was thumped by the Titans centre.
Both women engaged in push and shove before Williams-Guthrie took it one step further and pushed her opponent in the face.

Titans cult hero Rilee Jorgensen then ran in to grab Strange as Knights fullback Tamika Upton defused the situation.
"That's just silly," NRLW legend Allana Ferguson said of the Titans actions on Nine's coverage.
Footage then showed that Williams-Guthrie collected Strange high across the face.
"Karen Murphy will not be happy with that little loss of control there because this start of this second half has been fantastic for the Titans and throughout the whole game they have been very controlled," added Nine's Ruan Sims.
"Look at the anger in Jazzy Strange's eyes."
