The 20-year-old capped off his outstanding second season with a typically brilliant performance in the grand final win.
Daicos led all players with 29 disposals and two clearances to go along with his match-opening goal.
The grand final was Daicos' second match back from a knee injury, which had ruined the back end of his home-and-away season.
Daicos recovered from a fracture in his right knee in just five months to be fit for last weekend's preliminary final win over the GWS Giants.
Following Collingwood's four-point grand final win, Daicos' father, Magpies icon Peter, told reporters his son's knee injury was one that would typically sideline a player for 12 weeks.
"So proud of him," Daicos' older brother Josh said after the game.
"His goal is always team success. He wasn't too fussed about the Brownlow. He moved on pretty quick. Now he's a premiership player."
