As Brisbane celebrated their 16-point victory over the Blues, the club song had unwanted opposition… the final siren at the Gabba.
"I think the siren's broken," Hamish McLachlan said in commentary for Seven.
Despite ringing out for an irritating 50 seconds, the festivities continued undisrupted as the Lions booked their first grand final appearance in two decades.

Brisbane shrugged off their recent finals record which had seen the club suffer two preliminary final exits in the past four years to set up a date with Collingwood in next weekend's premiership decider.
The Blues burst out of the gates, kicking the first five goals of the match to hand the Lions their worst-ever finals start under coach Chris Fagan.
However, Carlton was soon reeled in after quarter time before being held scoreless in the second and third terms. They then managed just four more goals for the remainder of the match.
The battered Blues' side finished strong but it was not enough to change the outcome as the Lions prevailed 11.13(79) to 9.9(63).
With the win, Fagan becomes just the second coach in V/AFL history to lead a side to the grand final having never played a game of V/AFL football.
Brisbane star Lachie Neale managed to play out the remainder of the game after falling awkwardly on it during a tackle in the third term.
Neale later confirmed he was in no jeopardy of missing the grand final with injury.
"This one's given me a bit of grief over the years. This year it has actually held up well," he told Seven post-match.
"Just a bit of a stinger … it came good."
Neale starred for the Lions, collecting 23 touches and eight clearances.
Kiedean Coleman also notched up 21 disposals in an impressive defensive performance as Oscar McInerney, Lincoln McCarthy and Joe Daniher finished with two goals a piece.
The Lions navigated the season without dropping a game at home but they will next travel to the MCG where they have lost 14 of their past 15 games.
