Andre Onana's nightmare start to life at Manchester United has continued, with the Cameroonian goalkeeper having another moment to forget.
Onana was at blame for Bayern Munich's first goal in the German side's 4-3 win against United in the UEFA Champions League on Thursday morning, making a meal of a simple shot at goal from Leroy Sane.
Following United's loss, the second in the space of a few days, the 27-year-old took the blame for the result.

"We started very well and after my mistake we lost control of the game," a visibly emotional Onana said.

"It's a difficult situation for me, I let the team down. It's because of me we didn't win this game. We have to move on, it's the life of the goalkeeper.
"They hadn't created any chances, their first shot on target I made the mistake and the team went down.
"We fought until the end but I have to recognise that we didn't win because of me. I still have a lot to prove (to the fans). My start hasn't been so good, not how I wanted. It's difficult. It was an opportunity to bounce back and yeah, it's tough, a tough time and we have to be together and learn from our mistakes.
"It's my responsibility, because of me we didn't win and I have to learn from it.
"I have a lot to prove, because to be honest my start at Man United is not so good. It was me who let the team down."
Onana joined United in a $85 million transfer over the off-season, replacing long-time goalkeeper David de Gea, who was not offered a new deal by the club.
United's loss to Bayern follows what has been a disappointing start to the 2023-24 season. The club has won just two of its first five Premier League games, currently sitting 13th on the table and lost 3-1 at home to Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend.

Despite Onana's blunder, United remained within touching distance of stealing a point from Bayern until the death before a 92nd-minute goal from Mathys Tel put the result beyond doubt for the Germans.
“Towards the end of the game it got a bit frantic,” Bayern striker Harry Kane told US broadcaster CBS Sports, suggesting Bayern “probably should have been 4- or 5-1 up after we got the third (goal).”
