England Netball has apologised after mixing up black members of the national women's team in a birthday post uploaded to its social media platforms.
In now-deleted social media posts, the national body intended to wish defender Razia Quashie 'Happy Birthday' but twice used a picture of the wrong player.
Instead of images of Quashie, pictures of her teammates Halimat Adio and Britney Clarke were mistakenly uploaded.

Responding to a post on X, formally known as Twitter, Quashie took comfort in the public's outrage towards the posts.
"I am very relieved and grateful that this has been pointed out by someone other than myself," she wrote.
"This kind of thing is exhausting, disappointing and hurtful but it can often feel as though you're overreacting when you're the only one to call it out…"
In a statement, England Netball expressed its regret for the error and pledged to amend their processes.
"We would like to take the time to acknowledge the mistake we made yesterday with the content shared around Razia Quashie's birthday," England Netball wrote on Monday.
"We have spoken with and apologised to the players involved and we would like to make it clear that there was no malice or intent.
"However, it is clear that this does not minimise the impact that this has had on the players at the centre of this or those in the wider community. We want to work with these players and others moving forward to improve how we operate in the future."
Since making her international debut in 2018, Quashie has made 15 appearances for England.
