Origin debutant Keaon Koloamatangi could become one of the most in demand forwards on the open market, as reports emerge Souths' arch rival the Roosters could be interested.
The second-rower is contract to South Sydney until the end of 2024 and will be allowed to speak with rivals about a deal beyond that on November 1.
Speaking on Nine's 100% Footy, 9news reporter Danny Weidler revealed the price tag Koloamatangi could demand and which clubs are interested.

"We all know the Keaon has had an interest from the Raiders and they're supposed to be interested in around the $900,000 mark because he's going to be available in November and that's big money," he said.
"But in the background … the Roosters are lurking, they're looking carefully at him and you'd think the Roosters have enough in their team, their back row but there's a bit of talk that (they'll have a crack).
"Sitili Tupouniua's got another year so he could be someone who may not be there long term, although the Roosters do love him."

Another player who could on the outer for the Roosters is second-rower Angus Crichton.
Despite the denials, Weidler explained those talks could ramp up over the next 24 hours.
"There's supposed to be some talks maybe even this (Monday) evening about Angus Crichton, maybe tomorrow that rugby's still very much in the frame whether it's with (RA) or if that doesn't work out, there's a chance it could be European rugby," he said.

"It feels like the Roosters are prepared to let him go to rugby, there's been a lot of talk that they won't let him go to an NRL club, who knows if that's going to pan out in the long run.
"Right now talks are ongoing between (RA) and Angus Crichton and there could be more talks over the next 24 hours to try and make that happen for Angus."
