I’m hard pressed to think of a bigger recent example than Aaron Rodgers. Only 4 plays into the season a national audience saw the New York Jets Super Bowl dreams get smashed, the best storyline in the NFL ended, and possibly the end of a Hall of Fame career. Hell, it even wrecked millions of Fantasy teams.

I know I’ll get heat for the Fantasy reason.
