The NFL, UFC, and NBA want to make changes to the rules of DMCA takedowns to speed up the process of removing illegal sports streams.

The letter to USPTO says that the sports industry is losing around $28 billion each year because people who watch illegal streams don't have a reason to switch to paid streams or subscriptions, per @verge.
