The AFL has released a statement condemning Port Adelaide's actions, after the club failed to conduct a SCAT5 test on defender Aliir Aliir after his collision with teammate Lachie Jones in Saturday night's showdown against Adelaide.
The league has issued the club a "please explain", after no SCAT5 test was undertaken under the Head Injury Assessment protocol.
Port Adelaide is also under fire for allowing Aliir to continue to participate in the match after the collision.
Aliir has now entered AFL concussion protocols alongside Jones, with both to miss the club's match against Geelong on Saturday night.
MORE TO COME.
