Live: Rizwan’s 73* extends Pakistan lead to 288 in second Test

Rawalpindi: Wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan smashed his seventh half-century in Test cricket, extending Pakistan’s lead to 288 on Day four of second Test against South Africa at Pindi Cricket Stadium.

The home side were 217/8 at Lunch with Rizwan unbeaten on 73 and Nauman Ali batting on 10.

Pakistan resumed Day four’s processing from 129/6 with a lead of 200. Hasan Ali was removed by Keshav Maharaj as he was trapped leg-before in the sixth over of the day.

Yasir Shah partnered with Rizwan and put on a vital 53 for the ninth wicket. George Linde picked his fourth scalp to remove Yasir.

Note, Pakistan are 1-0 up in the two-match series.
