Australia's stand-in skipper Alyssa Healy stood tall to break a run of Test ducks and steer the visitors to a likely winning lead at Trent Bridge.
Healy scored a pair in her last Test match in 2022, and was again dismissed for nought in the first innings of this Ashes match.
She demoted herself down the order to No.8, and produced a classy 50 to guide the Aussies to 257 in the second innings, and they now look certain of victory ahead of day five.
