Aussie 'can do no wrong' as she stars with bat and ball

Fresh from her maiden ton, Annabel Sutherland picked up Australia's first wicket after dismissing England opener Emma Lamb for 10.

In her first over in attack, Sutherland edged Lamb to second slip where Jess Jonassen was waiting.

With a full delivery around off stump, Sutherland enticed the drive from Lamb which left England positioned 1-36.

"The first wicket is down and surprise, surprise it's Annabel Sutherland," Mel Jones said in commentary.

"A century, the first wicket. She can do no wrong."

ENGLAND BREAK THOUGH

Alana King looked to be in good touch on day two before she was bowled by a peach of a delivery from Lauren Bell.

With inswing, the ball toed the line wide off stump before arching back to the top and crashing into the stumps.

"The radar is on, it's through the gap of King," Jones said in commentary.

After coming in at No.9, King was sent packing for 21 from 46 balls.

SUTHERLAND SCORES TON

In scoring her maiden international century, Sutherland achieved the highest-ever score in women's Test cricket by a No.8 batter or lower and also raced away to the fastest Test hundred by an Australian woman.

GARDNER HAS LAST LAUGH

Ashleigh Gardner combined with Alyssa Healy behind the stumps to dismiss Heather Knight soon after her half-century.

With a full delivery picking up pace off around off stump, Gardner edged Knight straight to Healy.

Knights' innings ended on a strong 57.
