Richmond legend airlifted to hospital after crash

Richmond legend Bachar Houli is reportedly in hospital following a serious car crash over the weekend.

News Corp reports the retired AFL great was airlifted to a Melbourne hospital after a ute rolled over near Canberra.

It's believed Houli, 35, sustained a broken pelvis and possibly other fractures, but he is in a stable condition.

Wide World of Sports has contacted Richmond for comment.

Houli was a key member of Richmond's triple-premiership team and played 206 games for the club before retiring at the end of 2021.

He also played 26 AFL games for Essendon.
