Why are writers exempt from getting the basic facts right? Nate Shelley coached at West Ham in East London. This isn’t difficult to check. Manchester is where Jamie Tartt played at City after being on loan to AFC Richmond.

This is right up there with Wichita State winning a NCAA Division 2 national title at the beginning of the show. First, the Shockers don't have a varsity football program. I'm not even sure there is a club team. Second, they would need to give up their $4.5m tv contract as a member of the American Athletic Conference and move their basketball programs to D2 due to the Dayton Rule. You can't play American football and basketball in two different divisions. The University of Dayton once played D3 football and D1 basketball. The D3 schools didn't think it was fair so the NCAA created a rule for just those two sports. WSU could play non scholarship FCS football like Dayton but don't currently. You can participate in D1 ice hockey, wrestling, baseball, softball and lacrosse while keeping the rest of your teams in D2 or D3.

This dude got his article from Reddit. Maybe he will fix his error.
