NRL stars separated in tunnel after fiery face-off

Reports have emerged of a post-game argument between Manly prop Josh Aloiai and Wests Tigers half Brandon Wakeham after the Sea Eagles' win at Campbelltown.

Tensions were already at boiling point between the two when they were involved in a scuffle after Tigers centre Starford To'a went over for a try to put the Tigers in the lead.

That incident is believed to have been the catalyst between the two after the match.

The Sydney Morning Herald the two players were separated in the tunnel an hour after full-time when Aloiai approached Wakeham after the latter had finished a post-match interview with a reporter.

After the initial conversation between the Manly front-rower and Wakeham post-game, the matter became heated when Aloiai reportedly told the Tigers half to "come around the corner" if he wanted to "talk shit". 

Aloiai was dragged into the Manly Sea Eagles dressing room before Wakeham proceeded to continue the verbal stoush by popping his head into the Manly sheds, according to Chammas.

Originally, discussion between the two was believed to be tame, with reports suggesting it revolved around the incident after To'a's try.

Aloiai and Wakeham were seen to be grabbing at each others shirts before the former set upon John Bateman who was in the middle of the huddle.

Wakeham was believed to be taunting debutant Samuela Fainu who missed the crucial tackle that let To'a through, with his jersey appearing to be ripped once the scuffle concluded. 

Fainu and Wakeham were then involved in another altercation when Jason Saab scored the winner for the Sea Eagles in the 72nd minute.
