Karachi: Centurion Fawad Alam has stated that he has no regrets about missing 10 years of international Test cricket as he now only looks forward to doing wonders for Pakistan.
The 35-year-old Fawad scored 109 off 245 balls, which included nine fours and two sixes. He rescued Pakistan after they were struggling at 33/4 at the start of the second day’s play.
“My aim has always been to avail the opportunities. I always prayed to Allah to give that is better for me and was waiting for my time,” Fawad said in a post-day virtual presser.

“I don’t think like that (10 years have been wasted) because If I would, the number of runs I made in domestic cricket and piled up records couldn’t have been possible,” he added.
On the other hand, Fawad praised team management for awarding him the opportunities after he failed in two innings in England.
“Team management encouraged and believed in my potential. They are supporting me and that confidence has allowed me to do well in the middle. Misbah Bhai said that I know you will do it and I have full faith in you.” he added.
