Karachi: India’s domestic legend Wasim Jaffer has praised Pakistan’s Fawad Alam after he smashed his third Test century against South Africa at National Stadium, Karachi.
The 35-year-old Fawad scored 109 off 245 balls, which included nine fours and two sixes. He rescued Pakistan after they were struggling at 33/4 at the start of the second day’s play.
Wasim, who has 19410 runs in first-class cricket, took a dig at Fawad’s critics who have questioned his unusual batting stance. “You don’t need to change your stance but the detractors might soon change their stance about you!” Wasim tweeted.
