Lahore: Leg-spinner Zahid Mehmood and all-rounder Amir Yamin are likely to be named in Pakistan squad for the upcoming T20I series against South Africa.
According to sources, the selectors have started initial consultation as the squad is expected to be announced in the coming few days.
Limited-overs vice-captain Shadab Khan will not be considered for the selection due to an injury in the left thigh.
Meanwhile, Amad Butt, Sharjeel Khan and Azam Khan are also strong candidates to be named in the squad.
Men in Green will play three T20Is at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on February 11, 13 and 14. The players of T20I squad will enter the Bio-Secure Bubble in Lahore on February 3.
