The Awfulness of Bear’s Bank

I haven't been religiously watching Game Day this season, but tuned in and saw Bear's record for gambling picks was 17-18-1. His segments are never enjoyable/amusing, he's unlikable, and he doesn't appear to be good at his job. I wonder the politics behind him on the program. Does anyone chart his overall record on the show? There's been lots of stories lately about the insidiousness of the networks pushing gambling but it feels like no one ever brings him up.
