All-rounder Qasim Akram looking forward to successful PSL debut

Karachi: Young all-rounder Qasim Akram is looking forward to a strong start to his Pakistan Super League (PSL) career with Karachi Kings. 

Speaking in a video released by Karachi Kings, Akram thanked the franchise for giving him this opportunity.

“This is a real big opportunity for me and I am really looking forward to it. My aim is to make my presence felt in the tournament and help my team win,” he said.

Akram is also excited to play in the presence of Wasim Akram, Babar Azam, Imad Wasim, and Mohammad Amir. “It will be my honor to play under the presence of Wasim Bhai and with players like Babar Azam, Mohammad Amir, and Imad Wasim,” he mentioned.

Karachi Kings picked Akram in the Emerging category of PSL PLayers’ Draft 2021 following his all-rounder performance in domestic cricket.
