The five RBs taken before Frank Gore in the 2005 draft – Ronnie Brown (5,391 yards), Cedric Benson (6,017), Cadillac Williams (4,038), J.J. Arrington (654) and Eric Shelton (23) – combined to rush for 16,123 yards. Gore ran for an even 16,000, 3rd on NFL’s all-time rushing list.
