24-member women’s team clear COVID-19 tests ahead of SA tour

Karachi: All 24 squad members, 17 players and seven officials of the women’s national cricket team for the South Africa tour have cleared the pre-departure Covid-19 testing, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced today. 

The side is scheduled to depart for Durban, South Africa, on 11 January where they will play three ODIs and as many T20Is from January 20 to February 3

Javeria Khan will lead Pakistan in the absence of Bismah Maroof. “We will be in action after a long period of time. The side has a useful blend of youngsters and seniors,” Javeria said in pre-departure press conference.
