'Flawless' Tszyu prodigy wins debut fight

Nikita Tszyu has kicked off his professional boxing debut in impressive fashion, recording a second-round TKO over Aaron Stahl.

It was a dominant five or so minutes in Brisbane, before the fight was brought to a halt, Stahl a bloody mess despite fighting valiantly.

The younger brother of Tim, who walked away from his career in architecture because he was bored, looked completely at home in the ring.

"I didn't expect it to be like this – it was kind of shocking at first but once I got a little more comfortable I started to enjoy myself."

"The adrenaline was just pumping through my veins. There were a bit of nerves, I just felt like I was in a different environment, I've never been in something like this."

"It didn't go fully as to plan, you can never expect what happens in a fight. There were moments that worked, moments that didn't worked, and it was a valuable experience."

Nikita revealed that only his uncle and his brother's voices were audible during the bout, and that everything else was white noise.

"Flawless," Tim said of his brother's performance.

"There were little mistakes but besides that, flawless. Look what he did, he just dominated."

Jeff Fenech was glowing in his praise afterwards.

"This kid's going to get better and better," the boxing legend said.

"He's got a different attitude [to Tim] but he's got one thing that's exactly the same – he can fight."

Nikita said he had no plans for the future yet, bar tucking into a bowl of ramen.
