Ben Simmons and the rest of his Philadelphia 76ers have been forced into a 14-day quarantine after guard Seth Curry returned a positive COVID-19 test, plunging the NBA into further chaos.
The team didn't hear the news until shortly after the start of yesterday's defeat to the Brooklyn Nets, by which point Curry had spent the first quarter of the match sitting on the bench with his teammates.

Curry, who didn't take part in the match due to an ankle injury, was the only one sitting on the front row of the bench when the game started, but by the end of the first quarter other players – including an unmasked Joel Embiid – were sitting much closer to him.
The entire 76ers team have therefore been forced to isolate in New York and contact-tracing is in full swing, The Athetlic insider Shams Charania reports.

The Nets will also likely need to quarantine until it can be proven there was no contact with Curry, while the Washington Wizards could face the same predicament as Curry competed in yesterday's clash between the 76ers and Washington Wizards.
