Legends rip Marnus in X-rated TV blunder

Cricket greats Shane Warne and Andrew Symonds have been stung in an embarrassing, X-rated commentary blunder, tearing into Test star Marnus Labuschagne while they thought they were off air.

Twitter user Lenny Phillips shared a clip of Warne and Symonds chatting casually in the Fox Cricket commentary box as they worked the Adelaide Strikers v Melbourne Renegades BBL game.

Things got weird, and unkind, to Labuschagne, as Warne and Symonds were caught out in a classic 'hot mic' faux pas.

"Do something now to his ADD (attention deficit disorder) f***ing pills," Symonds appeared to say, referring to the eccentric Labuschagne, who scored 91 for Australia against India at the SCG on Friday.

"Yeah, f—," Warne responded.

"Jeez it's annoying. 'No!!!' Just f—ing bat properly," he continued, referring to Labuschagne's quirky methods at the crease.

"We'll have to give him the hog pile," Symonds said – a term which refers to a group of people jumping on top of someone – as the pair laughed.

"Mate if you keep that shit up we're going to have to squash your guts out your arse."

Not surprisingly, Twitter lit up with commentary of its own as the clip started to go viral.

Kayo Sports later apologised for the "unacceptable comments."
