Note, the national team and Pakistan Shaheens’ squads reached New Zealand on November 24. The squad underwent strict COVID-19 protocols after six positive results.
They left isolation on December 8 and moved to Queenstown for initial training and practice.
The results were not satisfactory for the team as they lost the T20I series 2-1 and got whitewashed in the Test series by 2-0.
On the other hand, Shaheens won the only four day game against New Zealand ‘A’ but lost three and won two out of five T20 played.
