Lahore: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has shown willingness to host the upcoming Asia Cup in the country.
In a meeting of the Asian Hockey Federation (AHF), PHF has offered its members to host the Asian hockey event, which is scheduled this year in June, in Pakistan.
“Pakistan is safe now to play all kinds of sports at a bigger level. Security has been satisfactory for the last couple of years and the country has hosted several international sports events,” PHF told meeting attendees.
“We want to host the upcoming Asia Cup in Pakistan and we assure foolproof security and high-quality facilities for the event,” the federation’s representatives said.
AHF to decide the hosting country for the upcoming Asia Cup in its next meeting.
